With the way the weather is going may be a tough one again this month! Since seeing a single large red 9 days ago, I havent seen a thing. And looking back at last year's photos, I saw common blue, azure and a lot of large red damselflies, some demoiselles and four-spotted chasers in the first week of May - not looking good for this week if the temperature doesnt improve. Now if it had been insects again...

That's why we've relaxed the conditions - it's ok to submit one you took last year. So come on everyone. It's only a bit of fun, you get a virtual medal on your avatar, and you could have the undying admiration of your UKD peers for a whole month!

Is it possible to upload a competition image using the img facility, or have i got to start resizing images for attachments again, which is a pain. I tried it a moment ago, but got an error message.

Nah. I think they should be of this month  There are plenty of opportunities around if you look hard enough and getting better all the time

Oh, thanks for that!  We've yet to get anything in the way of dragons/damsels around here - not even in the more sheltered or lower valleys/dales.  :headwall:  But I guess they'll probably make an appearance sometime this month - not really fussed as it's a great month for plenty of other things!

You should be able to link to images using your image url (without spaces) or use the picture icon (above the   smiley)

Please upload competition pictures to the Gallery  LINK

The only restriction is a file upload size of 2MB. The server will resize the image to a longest side of 1024pixels (if larger).

Cheers

The child/sub forum called Competition entries will display pic's that are added to the comp Gallery, trying a new feature of the gallery out, sorry for any confusion.

Please post photo's to the months competition gallery as usual.

Thanks
Jerry
